BERRIEN SPRINGS, MICHIGAN: The Berrien County Historical Association, in partnership with the Annunciation and St. Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church of New Buffalo, Michigan, and Columbia College of Chicago, Illinois, will host an Oral History Training Workshop on June 27 at the Annunciation and St. Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The church is located on US-12 between I-94 (New Buffalo exit) and Red Arrow Highway.

Erin McCarthy, Ph.D. from Columbia College in Chicago will conduct the training session. Dr. McCarthy teaches oral history at Columbia College and her class also will be involved in conducting several of the interviews in support of this project. Registration is not required, but requested so we may have adequate materials available.

This project is funded in part by the Michigan Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. For more information or to participate contact Elaine Thomopoulos or Leo Goodsell at the Berrien County Historical Association at (269) 471-1202.
