Pioneer Harvest Days at the 1839 Courthouse Museum

BERRIEN SPRINGS, MICHIGAN: The 1839 Courthouse Museum will offer its annual Pioneer Harvest Days school program on Thursday October 10 and Friday October 11 at 9:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. for 3rd through 6th grade students. During the two-hour session, the students will learn about historic methods to preserve food, heritage gardens, open-hearth cooking, make a homemade toy, tour exhibits, and visit the village smithy. Admission is $3.00 per student, with one free adult chaperone free with every ten students. Space is limited, so schools are asked to reserve their space by October 6.
