The History Center at Courthouse Square
Presents
A Conversation with Thomas Jefferson

Photo: Karla Korn

He was the author of the Declaration of Independence and the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, the first U.S. Secretary of State and the Third President of the United States. Perhaps more than any of the Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson established the philosophical underpinnings of the United States.

Actor and historian Steve Edenbo has portrayed Jefferson since 1999. He researched Jefferson as a resident fellow at Monticello’s International Center for Jefferson Studies in Charlottesville, Virginia. He frequently appears at the National Archives in Washington DC, Independence Hall and the Declaration House in Philadelphia. His television credits include the History Channel and the Colbert Report on Comedy Central.

If you would like to learn more about Thomas Jefferson, please join us for a special evening.
